MQ-2 has a combustible gas detection concentration range from 300-10000ppm. Use in home and factory for the monitoring of smoke and leakage of natural or other combustible gases . Tin oxide (SnO2) is a low electrical conductivity material in clean air, but with combustible gas, its conductivity increases. Using simple circuits, its changing in conductivity is changed into output signals. MQ-2 is sensitive to all liquefy gases, natural gas, hydrogen, etc. It is a low cost detector for most combustible gases.
